orthodontics
The desire for straight teeth no longer means metal braces for 2 years or more. Orthodontics has progressed a long way in recent years with a number of options for less visible brace treatments now possible. This includes 'Invisalign', a computer-designed sequence of clear retainers that correct a range of mis-alignments. Piers can assess whether you are suitable for ‘Invisalign’ or some other orthodontic treatments available, or whether referral to a specialist is necessary.
There is no age limit to having orthodontic care. Adults who are unhappy with the arrangement of their teeth are having them straightened this way, as it offers dramatic improvements without any drilling required. One of our own dentists has recently undergone such treatment, having had conventional removable braces as a teenager that failed to really straighten his teeth.
